Set on the trails of Rocky Hill Ranch, just outside of Austin, this multi distance running event features challenging courses through scenic back woods. Loop and wind your way through the trees in the 10k, half-marathon or marathon. Invite out the family and friends and camp out the night before or after the race. Super fun for all ages!
Lost Pines Marathon & Half Marathon The Marathon and Half Marathon course is 80% single track and 20% Jeep trails. The first 1.5 miles and last 1.5 miles are very technical, with steep climbs and descents. The rest of the course is on winding single track with soft soil underneath the lost pines of Texas. The course is a single counter clockwise loop for the Half, 2 loops for the full. Lost Pines 10K Trail Run The 10K Trail Run course is 80% single track and 20% Jeep trails. The first 1.5 miles and last 1.5 miles are very technical, with steep climbs and descents. The rest of the course is on winding single track with soft soil underneath the lost pines of Texas. The course is a single counter clockwise loop.
There will 4 Aid Stations on the run course, 2 on the 10k and 2 on the half course. The marathon will pass all 4 Aid Stations twice.
Aid Stations will be packed with Water, Gatorade, Trail Mix, Candy, Fruit and Energy Products.
Don’t mess with Texas and remember to not litter on the trails! Trash can be left with volunteers at aid station if needed.
All distances are professionally timed. The Off Road Marathlon will have a cut-off of 3.5 hours at the start of the 2nd loop, and 5 hours at aid station #2 on the 2nd loop (roughly 18.3 miles)m
All finishers receive a commemorative 2016 finisher medal!

Rocky Hill Ranch charges a separate $10 day fee per person. There are two types of camping available: Tent Camping and RV camping. Tent Camping is $15 per car, per night. Please pay at event registration at Rocky Hill Ranch upon arrival. Spots are first come first serve. Tent camping is available in the open space at the finish line, and at the camping area 1/4 mile from the finish. Spots are on a first come fist serve basis. You may tent camp in an RV spot if you pay the RV spot price. RV Camping is $30 per RV, per night. Electric and water hookups available.

It is extremely unlikely that this event will be cancelled due to weather. The event will take place in the rain and mud. Only extreme weather conditions such as dangerous lightening or high wind will cause the postponement or cancellation of this event. The start may be delayed up to 1 hour
